I’m committed to transparent and honest conversations about how structural inequality manifests financially, including barriers you may face in receiving psychotherapy or consultation. While my rates are listed below, I am open to further discussion of how to provide support wherever you are, whether that’s a sliding scale or a referral to another practitioner.

Psychotherapy

The fee for the first session (diagnostic assessment, 60 minutes) is $225. Ongoing sessions are $200 (individual or family psychotherapy, 53+ minutes).

I am currently an in-network provider with Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, HealthPartners, Hennepin Health, and UCare. This includes MinnesotaCare and Medical Assistance PMAPs. I am an out-of-network provider for all other insurance companies, including Medica/United/UBH. I work with many people who use their out-of-network insurance benefits, and I will bill on your behalf.

I reserve a portion of my caseload for sliding scale and pro bono clients. To see if I am accepting new sliding scale clients, please check my Open Path Collective profile.

Writing Consultation

I consider most of my ongoing writing consultation to be short-term psychotherapy, which is typically covered by insurance and follows the rate structure above. If you would prefer to forgo insurance, I am happy to discuss negotiating my fee.

Clinical Consultation

My consultation fees vary based on where you are in your career. Individual sessions are 55-60 minutes. For individuals working toward clinical licensure (including LGSWs), I charge $100 per session. For professionals independently licensed within the past two years, I charge $150 per session. For all other professionals, I charge $200 per session.
